Production & Technical Director:
The Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center

Brodie Steele served as the Production and Technical Director at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center from 2021 to 2025. Overseeing a dynamic facility that includes an 886-seat proscenium theater, a 99-seat experimental space, a costume shop, and a fully equipped scene shop, he ensured the seamless execution of the professional Spotlight Series, instructional performances in Theatre, Music, and Dance, and events for local arts organizations and community rentals.

In this role, Brodie managed contracts, developed and maintained operational budgets, and led a team of full-time and part-time staff across the venue’s box office, front-of-house, stage crews, and production shops. He also oversaw the production calendar and maintained the facility’s technical infrastructure, fostering an environment where creativity, collaboration, and safety could thrive.

Brodie Steele served as Technical Director at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center from 2007 to 2021. Overseeing all technical operations for the venue’s 886-seat proscenium theater, 99-seat experimental theater, and scene shop, he led a team responsible for the installation, operation, and strike of approximately 150 productions and events each year.

In this role, Brodie developed and maintained operational budgets, advanced all productions presented in the space, and managed a team of full-time and part-time stagehands and production personnel, ensuring every event met the venue’s high standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
